Nirmaan Organization, today launched an ICU facility at Area Hospital, Vanasthalipuram with support from EO, Hyderabad. The ICU facility provision is an initiative under the CSR efforts of EO, Hyderabad, who had joined hands with a coalition of NGOs to support their mission of addressing the acute shortage of ICU beds due to COVID-19. The facility was inaugurated today by Sri Harish Rao garu, Hon’ble Minister for Health and Finance, Government of Telangana along with Girish gelli, Learning Chair, EO Hyderabad, Smt Veena, EO Member and Sri Srinivas, Chapter Manager, EO Hyderabad. US Technology Resources Pvt. Ltd. supported Covid Rehabilitation Program in Kamareddy, Telangana

US Technology Resources Pvt. Ltd. in partnership with HYSEA and Nirmaan Organization has come forward to support the women who lost their husbands and families due to the Covid pandemic. There are total 50 women who are supported by US Technology Resources Pvt. Ltd. The Women and Child Welfare Department, Govt. of Telangana has nominated these 50 women from Kamareddy District. That include a livelihood kit such as sewing machine, kirana groceries, readymade garments and Pico machine etc. for earning and maintaining their families. Today, US Technology Resources Pvt. Ltd. with the support of HYSEA as industry partner and Nirmaan Organization as NGO partner is distributed livelihood kits to 50 women at New Collectrate Office, Kamareddy. Rural ICU unit at PHC, Devarakadra, Mahabubnagar, Telangana

During the Covid-19 Pandemic, India has faced critical situation where the patients suffered due to lack of proper health infrastructure in the hospitals. The goal of the Rural ICU project is to cover every district in India with an ICU ward facility in order to combat Covid waves in rural India. This is a joint project of Nirmaan Organization and 2 other NGOs.In Telangana, a total of 40 Government hospitals have been supported with ICU ward in 31 districts. This includes District Government hospitals, Area hospitals, Community health centers and Primary health centers.

We have established ICU ward in PHC, Devarakadra, Mahabubnagar, Telangana. The ICU ward has inaugurated by Shri Alla Venkateshwar Reddy, MLA, Devarakadra on 2nd November 2021. The Rural ICU is donated by D.E. Shaw India Private Limited with the support of Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (HYSEA). Shri Abdul Waheed, Rtd. ICU Ward upgradation at District Hospital - Dharwad

DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT: As part of Mission Karnataka ICU wards upgradation project, The District Hospital – Dharwad supported with 24 bedded ICU ward with all the critical medical equipment i.e., ICU beds 24, Multipara monitors 20, ventilators 02, Suction apparatus 04, Infusion pumps 10, crash carts 4, X-Ray 01, BP Machines 20, Defibrillators 02, intubation tray 10, Stretchers 10, surgical trollies 08, ACs 08 and computer 01 by KNR constructions and this ICU ward facility will help rural people of Dharwad district to treat COVID and Non COVID patients.

The ICU ward inaugurated by Shri. Prahlad Joshi, MP, Union Minister for Coal, Mines and Parliamentary affairs, Dr. Shivakumar, Dr. MC Sajjanar, Mr. Vittal Project manager, KNR construction, Uma Kesani, COO of Nirmaan and District officials and hospital staff participated in the event.

Digital device distribution event at Hoshiyarpur, Noida

Cognizant today donated 506 tablets and 20 internet-enabled laptops to government schools in Uttar Pradesh at a function held at Government Girls Inter College in Hoshiyarpur, Noida, in the presence of Suhas Lalinakere Yathiraj, District Magistrate, Gautam Buddha Nagar. The distribution drive in NCR is part of Cognizant’s nationwide ‘Digital Schools’ initiative being implemented in partnership with Nirmaan Organization. The initiative in Uttar Pradesh will benefit more than 506 students of classes 9 and 10 and more than 15 teachers at government schools in the region. Cognizant has contributed INR 93.3 lakh towards these digital devices. The ‘Digital Schools’ initiative, launched by Cognizant aims to bridge the digital divide and enable access to education for students at Government schools.

Speaking at the event, Mukund Garg, Chief Operating Officer, Healthcare and Lifesciences and Centre Head, NCR, Cognizant, said, “As an organization that believes in the power of education to enable social progress and transformation, Cognizant will continue to serve the cause of digital inclusion in education. Cultural center inauguration at Chinchughat, Adilabad

Governments have been running specific programs to improve their overall development indices including population growth. One such PVTG is the Thotti tribe, who reside in the remote locations of Adilabad and other regions in Telangana state. Through the enthusiastic and generous support of ServiceNow,

we at Nirmaan Organization, got an opportunity to work with the villages of Chinchughat on four focus areas of Education, Health, Livelihoods and Cultural Preservation. We are happy to share that on 17th July, we inaugurated the Community Learning cum Cultural Center at Chinchughat in the hands of Ms. Sowmya Chakilam. This center has been built using sustainable technology, keeping in mind the needs and requirements of the community. This center will serve as their cultural area, digital, computer lab, Anganwadi and we hope it will take up many more roles as the community utilizes the space. We are grateful to ServiceNow for supporting this impactful program, which will continue to bear fruits for years to come, not only for the future of the community but in preserving the rich cultural traditions and arts of the tribe

DDI Lab Inauguration at ZPHS Indiranagar, Siddipet

Nirmaan with the support of EPAM has setup a Disruptive Digital Intervention (DDI) Lab at ZPHS Indiranagar as part of HYSEA DDI program and it was inaugurated on 18th July 2021. The lab was inaugurated by Sri Thaneeru Harish Rao, Finance Minister, Telangana and Sri Shanthi Kumar, Director, EPAM. EPAM team and Nirmaan team has participated in the event. EPAM is supporting the school with 24 computers along with English learning software, internet and LED TV. A full-time coordinator was also appointed to conduct the regular sessions.

Digital School Tab Distribution Event

Cognizant, in partnership with Nirmaan Organization, is donating 520 tablets and 40 internet-enabled laptops to 5 government schools in Pune and Mumbai as part of the “Digital Inclusion” initiative of Cognizant Outreach, the company’s employee-led volunteering programme and one of India’s largest corporate volunteering efforts.

The event was attended by Mr. Sandeep Rane, Vice President and Pune center head. 2) Abhishek Jain, Associate Director, Cognizant Outreach. Cognizant has contributed over INR 1 crore towards procuring these devices and running the program for 18 months.

The devices were presented to the schools at a function held at the new English school, phursungi.

HYD Flood HSBC Rehabilitation Distribution

Heavy rain has caused extinction in the Hyderabad, Rangareddy and Surrounding areas of Moosi River. Particularly, Areas like Musheerabad, Falaknuma, Golconda, Borabanda, Aljabuli and FatheNagar suffered heavy damage in terms of property loss.

Several people have lost their Houses, Furniture and Vehicles. People who have lost their household goods and livelihood are suffering a lot in fulfilling their daily needs.

Nirmaan with the help of the donor HSBC, distributed the rehabilitation particulars like sewing machines, push carts, beautician kits, electrician kits, Kirana shop materials, bicycles and readymade clothes to the needy to restart their livelihood.

Home Isolation Kits distribution at Borabanda PHC, Hyderabad

Synchrony in collaboration with Nirmaan Organization as an implementation partner came forward to donate Home Isolation Kits to Primary Health care centres across Telangana.

As a part of the initiative, they have distributed 500 Home Isolation Kits to Site 3 Borabanda PHC to accommodate 500 beneficiaries who are affected by Covid -19.

Chief superintendent of the health care center said that these kits will help them to give the patients who are affected with Covid- 19 and thanked Synchrony and Nirmaan Organization for providing these kits.

COVID-19 Relief Equipment distribution at Fever Hospital

Across World, a devastating second wave of COVID-19 is ravaging the country, leaving millions infected, and entire population struggling to gain access to basic essentials, oxygen cylinders/ventilators and medical supplies. With the medical infrastructure crumbling and a dearth of hospital beds, a vast majority of the country still remains highly vulnerable to this deadly virus.

During these tough times, hospitals in our country were in dire need of medical equipment. Nirmaan in association with the Qualcomm, handed over COVID-19 relief materials (medical equipment) to Fever Hospital, Hyderabad in the presence of superintendent and other dignitaries.

As part of this initiative, we have provided 20 CPAP Machines and 20 BIPAP Machines to Fever hospital, Hyderabad.

The shortage of equipment restricted doctors from treating the patients but because of the medical supplies, they are now able to extend their services to more number of patients. The support extended was not very huge but it was definitely a significant one during these tough times. We hope this gesture goes a long way in supplementing our healthcare system and strengthening our fight towards this unprecedented crisis. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the entire team associated with this impactful project.

As part of this initiative, we have provided 8 Ventilators to King Koti hospital, Hyderabad.

The shortage of equipment restricted doctors from treating the patients but because of the medical supplies, they are now able to extend their services to more number of patients. During these tough times, hospitals in our country were in dire need of medical equipment. Nirmaan in association with FRANKLIN TEMPLETON, handed over COVID-19 relief materials (medical equipment) to King Koti Hospital, Hyderabad in the presence of superintendent and other dignitaries.

As part of this initiative, we have provided 1 Ventilator to King Koti hospital, Hyderabad.

The shortage of equipment restricted doctors from treating the patients but because of the medical supplies, they are now able to extend their services to more number of patients. The support extended was not very huge but it was definitely a significant one during these tough times. We hope this gesture goes a long way in supplementing our healthcare system and strengthening our fight towards this unprecedented crisis. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the entire team associated with this impactful project.

Inauguration of 10–BED ICU unit at Narayanpet district hospital, Telangana

10-Bed-ICU (10BedICU.org) a PPP (private-public-partnership) project between Govt. of Telangana and a group of NGOs under the banner 10-Bed-ICU launched the first critical care ICU unit in the Narayanpet district of Telangana. The goal of the 10-Bed-ICU project is to cover every district in India with at least one 10-Bed-ICU facility to combat Covid waves in rural India. Shri K.T. Rama Rao, Hon’ble Minister for IT, Industries & Commerce and Municipal Administration & Urban Development and Shri Vinod Khosla, Founder Partner, Khosla Ventures, CA, USA were chief guests for the event.

Shri K.T. Rama Rao the Hon’ble minister promised his active support of the 10-Bed-ICU project to not only cover 33 district & area Govt. secondary hospitals in Telangana, but also to help take this initiative to the rest of the country.

Vinod Khosla who has already funded several 10-Bed-ICUs in Telangana, announced today at the launch event that he will further fund 100 more district hospitals with 10-Bed-ICU across the country.

Dr. Harichandana Dasari, IAS, District Collector and Magistrate, Narayanpet expressed her gratitude to the program and to the donors for providing the critical support of 10-bed ICU in Narayanpet District Hospital.

Inauguration of 150 – BED ICU at TIMS, Gachibowli, Hyderabad

Telangana has been in the grip of a devastating second wave of the Corona virus since March 2021, with several cities in fresh lockdowns. The situation called for an urgent intervention to support our Overwhelmed Health Care System. Key Govt hospitals were identified to augment staff, critical lifesaving equipment & Medicines. Home Isolation kits, Livelihood Restarter Kits, Ration & Hygiene Kits distributed to needy. HYSEA’s Covid response initiative has made a significant progress in increasing ICU beds. We were able to upgrade 75 Existing ICU Beds in TIMS, and 20 Beds in Fever Hospital. We will be setting up 75 New ICU Beds in TIMS Gachibowli by mid-July. Such an impact has been made possible with the support of our member companies. Thanks to the 35+ Corporate partners who believed and contributed for the mission. 

Today, Sri K.T.Rama Rao Hon’ble Minister for IT, Industries & Commerce and Municipal Administration & Urban Development formally inaugurated the 150 bed ICU project at TIMS, Gachibowli. This project is sponsored by HYSEA Member companies: Microsoft, Qualcomm, Franklin Templeton, Cognizant and Wells Fargo.

Grocery Kits Distribution to Orphan homes, Hyderabad

At Nirmaan Organization we firmly believe that every action is stepping towards making a difference. Through the efforts of our team, we are tackling the harm caused by the pandemic step by step. So far, we have helped Hyderabad by providing oxygen beds and concentrators to the hospitals around the city, and now we are trying to help the citizens whose livelihoods have been affected by the ongoing lockdown. Our team has donated 4500 Kgs of rice bags to orphanages, old age homes, and PHC, and we are striving to raise more supplies to help the ailing citizens. Through the dedicated efforts of our team, we are hopeful that we will be able to help even more people. We are committed to this cause because, at Nirmaan organisation, we believe that every life can be saved with our maximum efforts, and we are giving that effort every day.

Oxygen Concentrators Distribution, Kingkoti hospital, Hyderabad

As the country faces severe oxygen shortage in the face of this pandemic, we at Nirmaan organization are committed to making a difference in Hyderabad. For the past several weeks, we have been diligently trying to raise and donate oxygen concentrators to government hospitals in and around Hyderabad. The team believes that their efforts will create a ripple effect that can collectively save the lives of many others and we meticulously work on the principle of individual commitment to a group effort. 

We are determined to win against this pandemic and our team has steadfastly donated more than 50 oxygen concentrators which will support more than 100 oxygen beds. Nirmaan is winning hearts every day as we conscientiously raise medical equipment, oxygen concentrators, and necessary life-saving equipment for the citizens of Hyderabad. We will continue to fight until the very end.

Medical equipment Distribution, District hospital Kondapur, Hyderabad

On the 6th of May 2021, the Nirmaan organization stood strong and provided Covid-19 relief material (medical equipment) distribution at District Hospital, Kondapur situated in Hyderabad. Equipment such as infrared thermometer, NIBP cuffs, oxygen hose pipes, digital BP apparatus, multipara monitors, glucometers, and much more was given out to the hospital for the care of their patients. 

With the main focus lying with the patients belonging to the underprivileged communities, Nirmaan is stepping up to lower the chances of the spread of Coronavirus drastically. With the scarcity of beds, oxygen, etc. with the rise of Covid affected cases, hospitals and other medical facilities have been needing help like never before and we are making sure that we help them with all hands on deck. This battle with such a deadly virus can be won if we all take precautionary measures and stay safe.

Distribution of Online Learning Kits

An Online Learning Kit comprising of an Acer tab, learning software and 3 months internet subscription was handed over to 60 female beneficiaries. These tablets were procured using the funds raised by Nirmaan being the sole charity partner at the ‘INORBIT Durgam Cheravu Marathon’ conducted on January 24, 2021. NIRMAAN worked with the Department of Women Development and Child Welfare in identifying the beneficiaries, all of whom are pursuing higher education in the state. Senior officials from INORBIT MALL Hyderabad were present at the event.

Eye Check-up Camp at Chinchughat, Adilabad

An Eye Camp was organized where 106 participants belonging to PVTGs (Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups) were given an eye-check up and were screened to identify cataract and other eye diseases. 33 participants were prescribed spectacles and 21 were identified as requiring surgery. The camp was supported by ServiceNow, and was organized with the active support of the District Medical and Health Officer, the District Blindness Control Society, and other government departments. Full COVID-19 protocols were followed to ensure the safety of the participants. Thank you, ServiceNow.

DEshaw Rehabilitation Kits Distribution

Due to damage caused by hyderabad floods many families have lost their livelihood. Depending on the kind of losses which the families have suffered due to flood, the rehab work has been planned out and the compensation package has been fixed on approximation basis. DEShaw has come forward to support 50 families by giving various rehabilitation kits like sweing machines, electric kit, plumbing kit, push cart, etc on need basis to support the needy to regenerate their livelihood. Honourable Minister, Shri Srinivas Yadav garu is the chief guest for the event. Society for rural development is the community and impact partner along with Nirmaan. Digital Device Distribution Event

In these tough times of pandemic, the world has witnessed the need and acceleration of digital learning. Durgam Cheruvu Marathon event

The first edition of the INORBIT Durgam Cheravu Run was conducted on January 24, 2021. There were three components for the run- 10 k run, 5 k run and disability run. Over 1,000 participants, including 50 persons with disability participated in the run. NIRMAAN was the sole charity partner, and the funds raised from the run will be used for Girls' Education.

TDL Tab Distribution Event

The Tribal Welfare Department, GoTS in collaboration with Nirman organization is implementing the Tribal Digital Leadership(TDL) program. The target beneficiaries are 60 mentees who are going to be mentored by 60 corporate mentors. As part of this servicenow has sponsored 50 tabs to the tribal students. These tabs are distributed to the tribal students on 23.01.2021 by the Honorable Tribal Welfare Minister, Smt. Sathyavathi Rathod. Dr. Christina Z Chongthu, Commissioner of Tribal Welfare, Sowmya, CSR Lead Servicenow, Mayur Patnala, CEO Nirmaan Organization, Tribal department officials, Nirmaan leaders and team have participated in the event.

EPAM RELIEF AND REHABILITATION DISTRIBUTION

Heavy rain has caused extinction in the Hyderabad, Rangareddy and Surrounding areas of Moosi River. Particularly, Areas like Falaknuma, Chaderghat,Golconda,Borabanda,Fathe Nagar and Musheerabad suffered heavy damage in terms of property loss.

EPAM has come forward to support these families by Giving Relief and Rehabilitation kits for them to regenerate Livelihood as usual. Depending on the kind of losses which the families have suffered due to flood, the further relief and rehab work has been planned out and the compensation package has been fixed on approximation basis. Relief Kits has been distributed to 50 families at Tolichowki/Golconda
