Acute shortage of ICU beds in Rural India to deal with the 2nd Covid wave

Even the Secondary Hospital at the District headquarters in many cases do not have ICU beds. Important to create this 10-ICU bed units rapidly, to handle severe cases of Covid-19.

ICU set up is the need of the hour

  • ● Many rural areas in India doesn’t have hospitals.
  • ● Those having a hospital, do not have ICUs
  • ● We are starting this 10 Bed ICU Unit concept from Telangana and rollout to more states.
  • ● Most of the patients are traveling from rural areas to district headquarters for medical needs
  • ● Establishing 10 bedded ICU units in rural districts is imperative to handle the Covid 2nd wave
